- What Happens once bulk withdrawn books are picked up?
Bulk withdraws are processes and evaluated for their best use. Books that can be sold are listed online. Teachers and Little Free Library owners can recieve free books for their libraries. Some books are given to nursing homes or non profit organizations. Books that are not sold or reallocated are responsibly recycled.
- What happens once our pre-scanned books are picked up?
We promptly list them, log all sales, and mail a check and sales report out once a month.
- How much do you charge?
We don't charge anything! It is completely free for libraries. We are able to make a living by selling some of the books we pickup in our online bookstore.
- How much do you pay?
We offer multiple consignment plans paying anywhere from 25-50% consignment of net proceeds. We will work with your organization to find the perfect plan for you.
- What items do you accept?
We accept all books and media including encyclopedias, CD's, DVD's, audiobook playaway's, manga, graphic novels, and video games. We also accept non-library donated books and media. We do not accept periodicals or magazines.
- Do we need to pre sort or scan items?
We offer a few different partnership options including unsorted bulk pick ups and prescanned books for higher consignment.
- What happens to books that can't be sold?
Books that can not be sold will be reallocated to the best of our ability. Damaged books will be responsibly recycled. Many children books and popular adult fiction books are given away to little free library owners or teachers. Large print materials may get passed off to nursing homes.
- How are payments made?
We mail paper checks and sales reports out once per month.
