Materials that cannot be sold will be reallocated to the best of our ability. Some items are donated to non-profits such as Read with a Buddy, or even gifted to teachers and homeschool programs or families. Non-redistributed materials are responsibly recycled. Many children's books are also sold at a low cost to the public.

Bulk withdrawn materials are processed and evaluated for their best use. Materials that can be sold are listed online. Teachers and Little Free Library owners can receive free books for their libraries. Some books are given to nursing homes or non-profit organizations. Books that are not sold or reallocated are responsibly recycled.

We accept all books and media including encyclopedias, textbooks, CDs, DVDs, audiobook playaways, manga, graphic novels, and video games. We also accept non-library donated books and media. For bulk pickups, we accept all conditions of items. For pre-sorted consigment we accept working items, media with photocopied or missing artwork, and anything in good shape. Broken binding materials are accepted. However, we do not accept periodicals, magazines or moldy items.

We don't charge anything! Our services are completely free. We are able to make a living by selling some of the books we pick up in our online bookstore.
